What a of music and people, this was a free show on the hill, that happend to be spaced on the closing night of the Rainbow Gathering. If you could ever translate love into music this would be the night. I have loved these guys for years, and they keep amazing me how each new concert is better than the last! The sound quality on this recording is superb! They plays lots of new songs and some updated oldies (like a disco version of Soulshine with a beautiful flute [guest artist?]). These guys have the most relevant message in music today, and they happen to be absolutely wonderful musicians as well! I heard that Michael went to the gathering, heard him play, and asked him to come on stage. Left the Gathering a day early so that I could be there for this show. It was my first time to ever see Franti, and I was so glad I did. So many of my good friends were in this crowd. Practically everyone who was at this show, had just come *directly* from the Rainbow Gathering.
